Athletes Invited to Join Dribble Challenge
127 Sports Intensity, in collaboration with the Fairfield Basketball Club, is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Dribble Challenge, an athome basketball skill-building program for students in grades 1–12. This winter-long challenge gives young players across Montana and beyond a structured way to improve their ball-handling skills through consistent daily practice.
The Dribble Challenge is rooted in the philosophy of Educational Athletics – helping students develop discipline, perseverance and confidence, both on and off the court. Participants log their dribbling time over the course of the challenge and are recognized for consistency, improvement and total minutes invested.
Challenge dates are Jan. 1, 2026, through Feb. 28, 2026. Early bird deadline is Dec. 15, for a fee of $20. Regular registration deadline is Dec. 29, for a fee of $25. Late registration deadline is Jan. 31, for a fee of $30.
You can register by visiting www.fairfieldbasketballclub. com. Select the “dribble challenge” option to complete the online registration form.
How the Dribble Challenge Works 1. At-Home Dribbling. Participants complete ball-handling work at home or in any safe space, focusing on strong, high-intensity dribbling.
2. Daily Logging of Minutes. Players record their dribbling minutes on a publicly accessible submission form, which totals their time over the duration of the challenge.
3. Parental Verification: Parents or guardians verify that the minutes recorded are accurate and reflect real effort.
4. Flexible Skill Work: Participants may use drills provided by the Fairfield Basketball Club or their own approved drills, as long as they maintain their best intensity and focus. 5. Recognition for Effort and Growth: Awards recognize not only high total minutes, but also consistency and personal improvement, reinforcing the idea that steady effort over time leads to growth.
