Culbertson Plays Softball Contests In Wolf Point

The Wolf Point Yellow Jackets downed Culbertson during girls softball play in Wolf Point on Tuesday, June 17.

A big second inning lifted Wolf Point to an 11-1 advantage. A highlight of the frame was McKinlee Paulson connecting for a triple to bring home two runners.

A two-run double by Serenity Wilbanks helped Culbertson pulled closer during the top of the third inning.

The game was called in the bottom of the third due to a thunderstorm with Wolf Point ahead by an 18-6 margin.

In the minor league game, Culbertson earned an eight-run victory over Wolf Point.

During their league tournament held in Plentywood, Culbertson’s minors won three of five games and placed third.
