Bulldogs Place Fifth In Lambert

Bainville’s girls struck for 47 points to take fifth place in the team standings at the Richey/Lambert Invitational held on Thursday, April 10.

Elsie Wilson led the Bulldogs by earning first place in the long jump at 16-7, third in the 100-meter dash at 13.18 seconds, fourth in the triple jump at 33-7 and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 53.57 seconds.

Hailey Berwick placed second in the 400 at 1:03.21 and fifth in the 100 at 13.38.

Miah Pippenger posted a mark of 32-2 for second place in the shot put.

Addison Hansen had a solid meet with a third in the discus at 92-6 and a sixth in the shot put at 30-7.

The girls’ 400-meter relay team featuring Pippenger, Wilson, Lila Butikofer and Berwick finished third at 54.76 seconds.

In the boys’ division, Rowan Wilson placed third with a time of 2:20.81 in the 800-meter run.
