Wolf Point struggled against Malta’s defensive pressure and fell by a 79-36 final during home boys’ basketball play on Friday, Jan. 12. The Wolves got off to a good start as a basket off a rebound by DJ Fischer and five straight points by Lennoxx Lillley produced a 7-2 advantage. Cade Stafne connected on a three-pointer to put Wolf Point ahead 10-5 with 5:56 left in the opening quarter.
