Directors for the Silverwolf Casino were elected during the Wolf Point Community Organization’s meeting held on Monday, Jan. 15. Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 62 calls from Jan. 14-22. January 14 Deputies removed an adult male from a residence in Brockton. Family members said the man was causing a disturbance. Deputies offered her a ride to another residence. Deputies received a report of a female in Poplar who overdosed. The Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice were also on the scene.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash on Dec. 23, 2023, near Fort Kipp is still under investigation. Kendra BetsHisMedicine was pronounced dead at the scene.
