Although Clean Sweep is a successful time for Wolf Point’s residents to spruce up the community, the goal of a continuous positive appearance takes both commitment and dedication. The Wolf Point Beautification Committee’s efforts show the group’s pride in the town. The committee’s volunteers include Duane and Rosie Kurokawa, Sue Broesder, Barbara Olson, Ann Wienke and Irene Tjon.

For the 20th year, a group of chiropractors came to the Fort Peck Reservation to hold a fun day prior to the start of the school year. The about 15 chiropractors held an event in Poplar on Thursday, Aug. 8, and in Wolf Point on Friday, Aug. 9.
