Bainville Competes At Glendive Track Meet

Bainville High School’s girls accounted for 21 points at the large Glendive Shriners’ track meet on Friday, April 26.

Elsie Wilson came through with a best of 16-11 in the long jump for second place. The junior placed fourth in the triple jump at 34-1, fourth in the 100 at 13.05 and fourth in the 200 at 27.45.

Hailey Berwick finished sixth in the 400 with a time of 1:02.72.

Miah Pippenger was 10th in the shot put at 31-3.

In the boys’ division, Charles Butikofer and Samuel Butikofer each cleared 5-8 to tie for seventh place in the high jump.

S. Butikofer took 10th in the javelin at 129-8.
