Bainville Opens Track Season At Watford City

Bainville opened its track season with a meet in Watford City, N.D., on Tuesday, April 9.

Samuel Butikofer cleared 6-2 for top honors in the high jump. Charles Butikofer cleared 5-10 for second place.

The 3200-meter relay team of Reese Harmon, Isaiah Bjorge, Kaiden Holmes and Rowan Wilson placed fourth with a time of 9:34.92. The 1600-meter relay team of Harmon, Wilson, Holmes and Bjorge took sixth at 4:02.01.

Gunner Glass finished fifth in the 3200 at 13:59.03. Holmes placed sixth in the 800 at 2:18.03.

Hailey Berwick earned second place in the 400 at 1:08.01 to lead Bainville’s girls.

Miah Pippenger placed third in the javelin at 89-4.

Elsie Wilson finished fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 52.73. Addison Hansen took sixth in the discus at 90-10.
