It’s February with all eyes on the calendar, marking off the days until Tuesday the 14th. The day designated to show love. Our stores have red and white candles, greeting cards and huge heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. Still all around we have folks of all ages who want to know “what love is.” Is it a feeling, hearing the words or having your heartbeat in unison with another person?

County Reports 23 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported 23 active COVID cases as of Friday, Feb. 3. There have been 3,942 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406653-6223 for a COVID vaccine

Gas Prices Decrease Slightly In State

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 0.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.22/g on Monday, Feb. 6,, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 23.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 16.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 5.2 cents in the last week and stands at $4.60
