Students Earn Honors At Local Bee


Jairo Tumonong, a seventh- grade student, has repeated as the spelling bee champion of Wolf Point. The competition was held on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Last year, Tumonong went on to win the Roosevelt County spelling bee and placed third at the state spelling bee. Speakers Take Part In School’s Career Fair


Wolf Point’s junior high and high school student got a chance to think about their future during the classroom career fair on Monday, Feb. 6. Guidance counselor Erin Loendorf was thankful to the individuals who gave up their time to educate the students. “Everybody has been really great about coming into the school and share,” Loendorf said. This is the sixth year of the career fair.

Baker Studies To Prepare For Future


Wolf Point High School Frank Baker is making a point to work toward his future during his time at the school. He has been successful in several dual credit courses including ag welding, public speaking, Microsoft Office, drawing and drum making. “I like learning how to draw,” Baker noted. He has also taken many high school art classes and has enjoyed the instruction there as well.

It’s A Boy


Bodee Scott Babb was born Jan. 31 at 6:15 a.m. to Shaylea and Brady Babb of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. He weighed eight pounds 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. His grandparents are Victor and Paulette Mitchell of Glendive and Brandon and Ronette Babb of Fort Peck.
