Bainville’s girls cruised to a 56-18 win over Turner during the Class C Tip-off tournament in Glasgow on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the opening quarter. Hailey Berwick hit two three-pointers and had eight points in the period. Bainville increased its lead to 31-8 in the second quarter. After a bit of a slow start, Lustre Christian High’s girls’ basketball team was impressive in a 55-33 win over Mon-Dak at the Class C tip-off tournament in Glasgow on Friday, Dec. 1. Trailing 8-4, the Lions struck for the final 10 points of the first quarter on four points by Grace Brown, four points by Kencia Brown and a basket off a rebound by Aubri Holzrichter. Bulldogs Outscore Turner Boys


Bainville’s boys’ basketball team posted its first victory of the season when the Bulldogs stopped Turner, 53-46, in Glasgow on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Bulldogs took a 12-8 lead in the first quarter as Alex Strickland hit two three-pointers to lead the attack. Bainville Falls To Plevna


Playing short-handed, Bainville’s boys’ basketball squad put up a good fight but lost to Plevna, 59-37, on Friday, Dec. 1. The Bulldogs fell behind by a 14-7 margin in the first quarter and trailed by a 21-9 score, but Bainville responded with consecutive three-pointers by Cayden Boyd and Rowan Wilson. A 14-footer by Boyd kept Bainville close at 28-17, but the Cougars held a 30-17 halftime
