Bainville Girls Down Turner Squad

Bainville’s girls cruised to a 56-18 win over Turner during the Class C Tip-off tournament in Glasgow on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the opening quarter. Hailey Berwick hit two three-pointers and had eight points in the period.

Bainville increased its lead to 31-8 in the second quarter. Miah Pippenger connected on three three-pointers during the quarter and scored 11 points. Elsie Wilson added six points.

Bainville held a 29-14 advantage after three quarters of play.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were M. Pippenger with 15, H. Berwick with 14 and Wilson with 11 points.

Rounding out Bainville’s scoring were Lila Butikofer with six, Tally Berwick with four, Brecklyn Pippenger with two, Kendra Romo with two and Kaelyn Romo with two.

Bridget Reed scored nine of Turner’s points.

The Bulldogs will play Alexander, N.D., in Watford City, N.D., on Saturday, Dec. 9.
