McIntyre-Led Mural Goes Up At Medicine Creek


Artist and educator Cathryn McIntyre and volunteers from Bigger Sky Kids after school program have added another mural to their list of completed projects. McIntyre has become one of the most prominent players in a growing trend toward vibrant signage designed by area artists on the Hi-Line. McIntyre has completed several murals with volunteer artists in the Glasgow area, Malta, Frazer and elsewhere.

Track Walks


Brockton model Rita Track (left) appeared in three shows this spring, including the “Make Some Noise for MMIP” event held May 6 at in Minot, ND. In April, she modeled for designer Jolonzo Goldtooth in Rapid City, SD, and she appeared for the second time at the Big Sky Indigifest and Fashion Gala Billings, where she modeled for designer Rebekah Jarvey. Wolf Point Produces Strong Showing At Divisional Track Meet


Wolf Point’s boys’ track team finished in fourth place and was extremely close to a third-place trophy at the Northern B divisional track meet in Great Falls on Saturday, May 20. The Wolves accounted for 67 points at the meet while third-place Conrad scored 67.33 points. The top two teams were Glasgow with 127.33 points and Shelby with 71 points. The Poplar Indians accounted for 25 points to earn sixth place at the Northern B divisional track meet held in Great Falls on Saturday, May 20. The top three girls’ teams were Glasgow with 130.5, Conrad with 100 and Malta with 85 points. Poplar’s Kessee Erickson, a junior, earned third place in the discus with a mark of 94-3.
