Rainfall Over Two Inches At Bainville, Froid

The National Weather Service in Glasgow received reports of 2.10 inches of rainfall at Wolf Point’s L.M. Clayton Airport during the May 12-13 precipitation event across the area.

Other area totals include 1.83 inches were recorded at the Poplar River, with 1.56 inches at Scobey by the afternoon on May 13 and a little over an inch at Lustre.

Bainville saw 2.7 inches by 11 a.m., with 2.06 inches at Froid and similar totals at McCabe.

Medicine Lake recorded 1.84 inches during the event and Plentywood received just under two inches. Over three inches were recorded in Richland County at Fairview.

In Valley County, Fort Peck saw 2.5 inches by 7 a.m. Oswego measured 2.25 inches by 9 a.m. Glasgow received less than 1.4 inches.

Observations are collected from a variety of sources with varying equipment and exposures. According to NWSG, some reports were not used because they did not contain enough info. Remember to include start/end time, specific location and amounts.
