Froid/Lake Outscores Fusion, 55-24

The Froid-Lake Red Hawks flew to a 55-24 win over Richey/Lambert during boys’ basketball action on Saturday, Jan. 15.

After leading only 12-10 at the end of the first quarter, the Red Hawks ran off 18 points in the second period for a 30-15 half-time advantage. Connor Huft and Patton Bighorn hit three-pointers during the second quarter.

Froid/Lake then erupted for 20 points in the third quarter for a 50-19 score. Brett Stentoft scored 10 points in the third period.

Top scorers for the contest were Mason Dethman with 12, B. Stentoft with 12, Bighorn with 10 and Javonne Nesbit with 10.

Also scoring were Huft with seven, Nate Stentoft with two and Ashdyn Hobbs with two.

Brett Mullin led the Fusion with 10 points. Josh Sponheim and Austin Lien scored six points each.
