Badlands Celebration Set In Brockton

This year’s Badlands Celebration is set for June 26-28. Camping day is Thursday, June 25, which will include a street clothes kahomani.

Grand entries will be held Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 7 p.m. Registration for dance categories will close Saturday at noon.

Those categories include Golden Age Women and Men, Men’s Grass, Fancy and Traditional; Women’s Jingle, Fancy and Traditional; Teen Boys Grass, Fancy and Traditional; Teen Girls Jingle, Fancy and Traditional; Junior Boys Grass, Fancy and Traditional; Junior Girls Jingle, Fancy and Traditional and Tiny Tots. Drums will be paid daily.

Arena director is Raymond Olsen and announcers will be Tommy Christian and Patrick Ricker.

A horsemanship clinic is being offered Thursday, June 25. Parents or guardians must be present for youth to participate.
