Red Hawks Fall Short Against Fusion

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks dropped both conference games against Richey/Lambert on Friday, Jan. 23.

The Fusion gained an 11-0 lead in the first quarter, but Froid/Lake fought back to 1912 in the second quarter.

Richey/Lambert held a 3018 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Isabelle Nordwick with nine and Atley Jensen with eight points.

Also scoring were Laytyn Davidson with four, Avery Johnson with three and Joelle Davidson with two.

Leading the Fusion were Jolee Klempel with 12 and Brynne Hill with nine points.

In the boys’ contest, the Fusion earned a 61-46 victory.

After leading 15-11 at the end of the first quarter, the Fusion increased the margin to 36-24 at the half.

Rylan Young and Easton Marottek scored 14 points each to lead the Red Hawks. Carson Aasheim added 11 points. Also scoring were Carsen Kelm with four, Teegan Fossum with two and Jake Nordlund with one.
