The Wolf Point Yellow Jackets opened their season with an 18-8 comeback victory over Malta at home on Wednesday, April 30. The Yellow Jackets fell behind 7-1 during the opening two innings. The Poplar Indians hosted a golf invitational at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Thursday, May 1. In the boys’ division, Malta’s Regan Stuart earned medalist honors by shooting a 77. Poplar’s Navarjo Escarcega and Kaniel Ricker tied for sixth place with 86s. Lukas Young of Poplar shot a 97 to tie for 20th place. Blake Lambert tied for 25th place with a 99. Gavyn Grainger
