The Montana Stockgrowers Association continues to look for the assistance of donations in its battle to appeal the Bureau of Land Management’s decision that approved bison grazing leases in north central Montana.
“We’re absolutely are still taking donations. This could be a long process before the issue is resolved,” Jim Steinbeisser, president of the Montana Stockgrowers Association,

The Wolf Point Junior High School students involved in the Jobs for Montana Graduates program has been making younger friends during this school year.
Since August, the JMG class has been part of a buddy program with preschool and kindergarten students at Southside Elementary School. The JMG students have been walking over to Southside twice a week.

MSU Extension and the Fort Peck Tribes Natural Resources Department will offer a Winter Agriculture Series focusing on livestock related topics. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Sherman Inn in Wolf Point from 12:30-4 p.m.
A meal will be provided as well as three pesticide applicator points available.
The training will start with livestock pest management, Wendy Becker-MSU
