Austin Ray Peterson, 29, of Wolf Point died Jan. 28, 2023 at Billings Clinic in Billings. He was born on March 12, 1993, in Wolf Point. He graduated from Wolf Point High School in 2011. He was a very adventurous person and always wanted to try something new or drive somewhere new. He always wanted to learn everything he could. He had several jobs throughout his life and was able to learn new skills from all of them. He was very proud of his last employment with Tribal Enterprise as a plumber’s assistant. He told his mother, “What I do is nasty and dirty, but when you help someone with their plumbing you should see their faces, so thankful. You got their problem fixed. That makes my day, Mom.” He was always on the go. Fishing, hunting, pretending to go fishing … he just had to be doing something outdoors and enjoying life. He loved music and he loved his family. He was known to have a good sense of humor and had a great smile that everyone loved. He was a very charismatic individual. He had plenty of girlfriends and vehicles, but he finally settled with Josie White and had two daughters. Mallie Mae Rose Peterson was born on Jan. 8, 2017, and Skylnn Rannae Peterson was born on May 20, 2018. He and Josie separated later and he met Kristen Bighorn.
