Culbertson Loses To Scobey

The Culbertson Cowboys saw their basketball season come to an end as Scobey stopped the Cowboys, 60-25, at the Eastern C divisional tournament held in Glasgow. After Culbertson’s Bridger Salvevold accounted for the game’s first two points, Scobey struck for the next 14 points including three-pointers by John Carney and Ty Leischer. Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad put up an admirable fight but lost to top-ranked North Country, 52-21, in the semi-final round on Friday, March 1. The Montana Farm Bureau Foundation announces its annual Youth Speech Contest which will be held April 4 during the 2024 FFA State Convention at the Billings Metra. The Youth Speech Contest is open to students in the seventh, eighth and ninth grades who are enrolled in 4-H or FFA. It takes place between 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Laurel Room.
