Indians Beat Plentywood In Conference Match For Homecoming
Poplar emerged with a straight set victory over conference foe Plentywood on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The Indians scored a 25-14, 26-24, 25-19 win to celebrate homecoming.

Plentywood Outscores Poplar In Football Battle
Poplar’s football squad enjoyed a tremendous start in its homecoming football game against Plentywood but lost by a 56-26 final on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The Indians accounted for the first 20 points of the conference game to excite their hometown fans.

Ricker Competes In Ironman Triathlon
Area athlete Darryl Ricker competed in the Tri-Cities Ironman Triathlon in Richland, Wash., on Sept. 21.
The Ironman consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13-mile run.
“I completed the swim in 35 minutes and completed 49 miles on the bike. But due to weather conditions, I was unable to make the bike cutoff,” Ricker said. “I competed for five hours and 30 minutes total.
