Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6 game wardens are seeking any information regarding vandalism that occurred to a dock near the boat ramp on the Dredge Cut (Trout Pond) Fishing Access Site north of Fort Peck. Dennis Vinger, 80, of Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Wolf Point, died June 20, 2021, in Arizona. A viewing was held from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Wheelock Cemetery in North Dakota. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel assisted with the arrangements.

Fort Peck Campgrounds Now Open

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District announces that all Fort Peck area campgrounds and the Interpretive Center are open for the 2021 season. The Downstream Campground will remain open through Sept. 30. Reservations for individual campsites can be made up to six months in advance of the date of arrival. The West End Tent and Trailer Campground will remain open until Sept. 6.
