A federal judge has ruled that four Missouri hunters did not trespass when they corner crossed and passed through the airspace above Fred Eshelman’s Elk Mountain Ranch.

The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet June 8 in Helena at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks headquarters. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The meeting will be streamed live on the FWP website and YouTube. The public can participate in person or via Zoom.
The commission will make final decisions on the following items:
•Elk Hunting Access Agreements for 2023 •Private

After 21 years at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Hank Worsech is retiring as director, with deputy director for the agency Dustin Temple set to succeed him.
According to a release from Gov. Greg Gianforte’s Office on Friday, June 2, the governor appointed Worsech director of the department January of 2021 and he’s retiring following medical leave, which started in February.
