Froid/Lake’s boys’ basketball team dropped its season opener against Scobey by a 60-38 final on Friday, Dec. 8. Scobey led 17-6 at the end of the first quarter and increased the margin to 31-14 at the half. The Spartans accounted for 14 points in the third quarter to take a 45-24 advantage.
