Bainville Girls Shoot To Repeat As District Champions
Coming off the best girls’ basketball season in school history, the Bainville Bulldogs aim to continue their winning ways this campaign.
The Bulldogs won both the conference and district tournament titles last year. Bainville then placed third at the divisional tournament. Coach Lance Berndt said the current group of seniors have enjoyed a good amount of success since the eighth grade.

Froid/Lake Boys Feature Good Turnout, Returning Starters
With three returning starters, the Froid/Lake boys’ basketball team aims to move up in the conference standings this season.
Back for the Red Hawks are starters Rylan Young, Carsen Kelm and Cody Olson.
In addition, Eddie Orozco, Teegan Fossum and Jake Nordlund have a good amount of varsity experience.

Returning starters for the Red Hawks are senior Avery Johnson and junior Isabelle Nordwick.
Players who helped off the bench last season included junior Keira Stentoft, sophomore Joelle Davidson, junior Jordyn Breuer and junior Leah Murray.

Frazer Girls Look To Make Return Trip To Divisional
Frazer’s girls’ basketball team returns two starters from a team that qualified for the divisional tournament last season.
Returning starters for the Bearcubs are All-State performer Isabelle Fourstar and BriAnne Beston.
Other players back for Frazer are Kassidy Hentges, Audrey Mail and Elli Mail.
Eighth graders on the team are Madison Garfield, Bethany Hotomanie and Cassidy Mail.
Bearcubs Aim To Add Victories During Season
Frazer’s boys’ basketball squad features seven players this season.
The squad consists of one senior, two juniors, three freshmen and an eighth grader.
“We’re going to be young and a little short,” Frazer Coach Myron Jackson said. “But we have quickness and will get up and down the floor.”
