Bearcubs Aim To Add Victories During Season

Frazer’s boys’ basketball squad features seven players this season.

The squad consists of one senior, two juniors, three freshmen and an eighth grader.

“We’re going to be young and a little short,” Frazer Coach Myron Jackson said. “But we have quickness and will get up and down the floor.”

Cassius Smoker is the team’s lone senior. Gabe Beston, a junior, also has a great amount of varsity playing experience.

Other players for the Bearcubs include Xeyden Hentges, Ronald Roundface, Bryce Fourstar, Preston Beston and Callan Jones.

Jackson, who is assisted by Zane Sibley, said, “We want to progress the whole year and get a few W’s here under her belt.”

Jackson said the team’s goal is to make some noise at the district tournament.

He sees Lustre Christian, Scobey and Circle as the District 3C’s top teams.
