After Brockton defeated Savage, 72-43, in the District 2C boys’ basketball game on Saturday, several players immediately jumped on top of Coach John Nygard to celebrate. The Warriors understood what the title meant not only for them, but especially to their coach and, for that matter, the entire community of Brockton.
