A wake will be held on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.

According to clerk LeAnn Krumwiede Johnson, the council went through the budget line by line and decided to approve the maximum number of mills.
After the budget meeting, the council held the regular monthly meeting. It was called to order at 7:25 p.m.
