Plentywood and Froid/ Lake lead the District 2C girls’ basketball standings with 5-0 records heading into this weekend. MonDak is right behind at 3-1 and Culbertson is 3-2 in league play. Bainville’s girls basketball team lost to league-leading Plentywood by a 64-21 final on Friday, Jan. 21. The Wildcats led 18-10 at the end of the first quarter and by a 38-10 half-time margin. Plentywood then outscored the Bulldogs by an 18-6 margin in the third quarter. Lakyn Rabbe scored seven points to lead Bainville.
