The Froid/Lake Red Hawks earned a four-set victory at Fairview on Thursday, Sept. 8. The Red Hawks scored a 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-15, victory. Carolyne Christoffersen put together a strong match with four blocks and four aces. Dasani Nesbit accounted for 13 kills. Mara Salvevold served four aces. Baylee Davidson finished with 20 assists. Froid/Lake fought off Savage in a thrilling five-set volleyball match on Friday, Sept. 2. The Red Hawks won by a 12-25, 26-24, 27-25, 23-25, 15-9 final. Dasani Nesbit led the Red Hawks’ attack with 17 kills and two aces. Baylee Davidson finished with 25 assists and two aces. Aleah Johnson accounted for eight digs. Mara Salvevold had two blocks.

The Culbertson Cowgirls scored an impressive volleyball victory in Scobey on Saturday, Sept. 3. The Cowgirls knocked off Scobey by a 25-10, 25-12, 25-15, margin. “The girls fought hard. They came out swinging and didn’t stop,” Culbertson Coach Tiffany Nielsen said. “Their serves were also on tonight.” Makena Hauge finished with 15 kills, three aces, five blocks and two digs.

The Bulldogs fell behind early in each of the sets before putting together a comeback. Kendra Romo highlighted Bainville’s effort with three aces, five kills, six assists and six digs. Lila Butikofer finished with nine assists.
