Culbertson lost both ends of a home basketball double- header against Plentywood on Saturday, Dec. 16. The Cowgirls fell by a 4534 final. Plentywood gained a lead of 13-7 in the first quarter and increased the margin to 29-14 at the half. Trailing by a 39-20 margin entering the fourth quarter, the Cowgirls scored 14 points in the final period. Ayden Ator scored 11 points for the Cowgirls.

In a game featuring two Eastern C boys’ basketball powerhouses, Lustre Christian fought off Froid/Lake, 67-42, during the Scobey Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 9.
