The Culbertson Cowboys enjoyed an excellent first half and knocked off Richey/Lambert, 59-35, during District 2C play on Friday, Dec. 15. Culbertson lost both ends of a home basketball double- header against Plentywood on Saturday, Dec. 16. The Cowgirls fell by a 4534 final. Plentywood gained a lead of 13-7 in the first quarter and increased the margin to 29-14 at the half. Trailing by a 39-20 margin entering the fourth quarter, the Cowgirls scored 14 points in the final period. Ayden Ator scored 11 points for the Cowgirls.
