A Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks warden stopped a driver pulling a ski boat after he drove past an aquatic invasive species inspection station near Anaconda last week. The warden noticed some mussels on the boat and had the driver return to the inspection station where many more mussels were detected. A full decontamination was performed at the station and the boat was locked to the trailer.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will host a virtual meeting to gather input for the 2025-26 fishing regulations. It’s interesting to page through the Montana High School Association’s records for basketball. There are many familiar names listed for area fans. The top scorer of all time for boys’ basketball is Reece Gliko of Highwood who finished with 2,763 points in 1990-93. Brody Grebe of Melstone ranks seconds with 2,540 from 2014-2019.
