Bainville’s golf program has a good turnout of 10 students this season. “This is the most that I’ve ever had,” Coach Dan Lambert said. He estimates that he’s been coaching for eight years. The Bainville Bulldogs earned fourth place at the Eastern C girls’ basketball divisional tournament held in Glasgow during the weekend. The Bulldogs lost to Scobey, 52-31, in the third-place game on Saturday, March 2. North Country defeated Plentywood, 55-23, for the divisional title. Bainville’s girls’ basketball team fought off Lustre by a 50-46 final during opening round action at the Eastern C divisional tournament in Glasgow on Thursday, Feb. 29.
