The Froid/Lake Red Hawks accomplished a remarkable football season in 2023. After winning the conference championship, the Red Hawks accounted for two comeback playoff victories on their way to the state title game.

Red Hawks Advance To State Championship Football Game
In a game that featured a huge display of fireworks provided from both offenses, Froid/Lake’s attack was too much at the end as the Red Hawks posted an 82-70 semi-final round victory over Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap in six-man football action on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Red Hawks Earn Amazing Comeback Playoff Win
There are comebacks, and then there is what the Froid/ Lake football squad pulled off against Chester/Joplin/ Inverness on Saturday afternoon.
Considering the Red Hawks were down by 29 points, it was a state playoff game, they were facing an explosive offense and they were playing on the road, the outcome had all the ingredients of something truly memorable. In fact, it’s a good prediction
Froid/Lake Drops Opening Match At Eastern C Divisional Tournament
The Froid/Lake volleyball squad lost to a strong Broadus team in the first round of the Eastern C divisional tournament on Thursday, Nov. 2.
In the first set, the Red Hawks stayed close as kills by Jaeleigh Davidson and Isabelle Nordwick highlighted play. A kill by Mara Salvevold pulled Froid/Lake even at 10--10.

Red Hawks Lose Against Jordan Squad
Despite a strong comeback, the Froid/Lake Red Hawks fell against Jordan during loser- out action at the Eastern C divisional volleyball tournament in Sidney on Friday, Nov. 3.
Jordan won the match by a 25-18, 25-19, 25-22 final.
The Red Hawks fell behind early in the first set, but kills by Isabelle Nordwick closed the margin to 13-12. A kill by Jaeleigh Davidson tied the match at 13-13.

Red Hawks Stop Shield Valley For Playoff Victory
Sometimes, it’s a team’s offensive attack that is too much for an opponent to stop. But during playoff football action in Medicine Lake on Saturday, Shield Valley didn’t have an answer to slow down Froid/Lake’s defensive unit.

With a divisional berth on the line, Froid/Lake earned a straight set victory over Culbertson at the District 1C volleyball tournament in Plentywood on Saturday morning.
The Red Hawks scored a 25-17, 25-23, 25-23 win over Culbertson.
