In a battle of District 3C heavyweights, Scobey edged Lustre, 40-37, in boys’ basketball action on Saturday, Jan. 18. The visiting Spartans led 12-7 at the end of the first quarter. The Lions battled back for a 20-20 deadlock at the half. Scobey entered the fourth quarter with a 29-25 lead and still was ahead 34-31 going into the final minutes.
