Warriors Lose To Lame Deer

Brockton’s boys’ basketball team lost against Lame Deer by a 73-67 final in Brockton on Saturday, Dec. 20.

Lame Deer held a 36-32 half-time lead and moved ahead 61-50 in the third quarter.

Brockton outscored Lame Deer by a 17-12 margin in the fourth period.

Jarid Fast Horse Jr. scored 27 points for the Warriors.

Also reaching double figures were Colter Nygard with 14, Tefton Bear with 12 and Miles Boxer Jr. with 12 points.

Rounding out the scoring was Weston Lambert with two points.

Brockton’s girls lost against Lame Deer by a 58-51 final.

The Warriors jumped out to a 17-2 lead in the first quarter, but Lame Deer cut the margin to 28-16 at the half.

The Morning Stars pulled to 40-35 in the third quarter. Lame Deer scored 23 points in the fourth period for a 5851 victory.
