Culbertson Enjoys Good Start At Glasgow Invitational


Culbertson opened its track season with a solid showing at the Glasgow Invitational on Friday, April 1. Culbertson took 14th in the girls’ team standings with 12.66 points. Bulldogs Score At Glasgow Track Meet


Bainville’s track squad put together a strong effort during its season-opening meet in Glasgow on Friday, April 1. Charles Butikofer enjoyed a good meet as he placed third in the high jump by clearing 5-8, took seventh in the javelin at 123-09 and placed eighth in the long jump at 17-2, Ayden Knudsen finished eighth in the 3200 with a time of 12:18.89 and took 12th in the 1600 at 5:44.20.

FWP To Instruct Anglers To Kill Invasive Smallmouth Bass


After an invasive smallmouth bass was caught in the Gardner River just outside Yellowstone National Park on Feb. 19, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is asking anglers to voluntarily kill the fish. FWP also will propose a rule next month that would require them to be killed and reported. The catch worried wildlife officials as the fish is not native to the area, and an established population
