A resolution was passed at the Monday, Aug. 24 meeting of the Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board approving veteran status and statutory requirements for the recently enacted veterans stipend of $500. To qualify for the stipend, applicants must have completed 180 days active duty service or more outside initial or annual trainings or completed at least 20 years qualifying service in the U.S.
