Storms Pile Up, Snow To Slow Down By Friday
National Weather Service Glasgow based meteorologist Ryan Bernhart told the Northern Plain Independent

Wellbriety Symposium Set For March 15-17
Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center is sponsoring a “Wellbriety Symposium” March 15-17.
The event will include a comedy show Wednesday at 6 p.m., family skills night Thursday at 7 p.m., a kahomini round dance Friday at 7 p.m. and buffalo harvesting Wednesday and Thursday from 1-4 p.m. Meals are provided at all events.

A bill to move the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame back to Wolf Point passed the House’s state administration committee on an 11-7 vote on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The bill, however, failed in the full House by a 54-46 margin.
House Bill 794 was being sponsored by Rep. Frank Smith, D-Poplar.
The bill sought to move both the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center from Great Falls to

Roosevelt County commissioners approved a resolution for a public hearing regarding accepting roads to become public roads during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 20, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Roosevelt County building in Culbertson.

Figures Released For 2023 Cannabis Sales
The Montana Department of Revenue reported that Roosevelt County had cannabis sales of $297,864 during the first month of 2023.
The amount includes $212,815 for adult-use sales and $85,049 for medical sales.
In comparison, Valley County experienced $143,934 in sales during January. Sheridan County reported $67,844 in sales during the month.
