There has been much holiday festiveness at Ike’s Fishing Pond and Walking Trail in Culbertson this week. Hot chocolate, cookies and apple cider were offered area residents beginning at 4 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Froid High School senior Kaya Parenteau serves in my leadership roles at her school. Parenteau is the FFA president, secretary of the student council and editor of the school’s yearbook/annual. Froid’s FFA chapter features about 15 students. “I run the meetings when we have them and make the announcements,” Parenteau said. She and other FFA members enjoyed attending the competition
