With the goal of supporting local healthcare, the Wolf Point 100 Club is holding its third annual “chair-ity” and fun yard art auction at Sherman Park on Friday, July 7, after the parade. Funds raised will help the 100 Club purchase medical equipment for health care facilities including Faith Home, Trinity Hospital, Listerud Rural Health Clinic, Wolf Point Pharmacy and Emergency Medical

The all-volunteer Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede Committee features a good variety of experience along with fairly new members. Committee members with the longest term of service include Don Whitmus with 57 years, Jack Stensland with 49 years, Christy Stensland with 38 years, Dave Matejovsky with 21 years and JD Stensland with 15 years. Only 56 individuals or organizations received the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award in 2023, and one of the honored winners was the Fort Peck Tribes’ Red Bird Woman Center/Children’s Advocacy Center.
