The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture announces a Chamber After Hours event from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14.

The activity, to take place in the front lawn of the Sherman Inn, is being co-hosted by the Sherman Inn and Bryan’s.

Music with DJ Darren Long Hair will be provided. Street tacos will be offered. There will be a cash bar on site.

During the Chamber’s board of directors’ meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 5, Optimist Club president A.J. Allen noted that the club’s yard sale and ice cream social were well attended. Installation for the Optimist Club is planned for Sept. 30. Larry Neutgens will be installed as president. The club’s annual Halloweenie event is scheduled for Halloween.

The beautification committee reported that a driver plowed down a Welcome to Wolf Point sign. The city has indicated it will help putting a sign up. The committee would like to see some younger people join the effort.

Currently, there are 69 Chamber members. Directors are working on a dues incentive to attract new members.
