The Wolf Point City Council held its regular meeting on Monday, July 15.
Terry Toavs appeared to request a revocable license to encroach up to 12 feet on an easement next to his lot on Dawson Street. City attorney Montana Wilson advised the council to grant the easement and council members approved the request.

Owen Wilcox of Laurel and Ziek Gordon of Bozeman captured top honors at the Montana Governor’s Cup 2024 Walleye Tournament held at Fort Peck during the weekend.
The Wilcox/Gordon team earned first with a final weight of 85.41 pounds including 52.28 pounds on the second day. The team was in seventh place after the first day of fishing.

The Post #49 Bulls struggled against strong teams at the First State Bank and Trust Classic in Williston, N.D., during the weekend.
The Bulls fells to the Burlington, N.D. Bulldogs, 15-0, in the first game of the American Legion baseball tournament. Burlington accounted for 11 of its runs in the first inning.
Having the Bulls’ two hits were Henry Kukowski and Plenny Williams.
