Kazzley Faith Azure was born Oct. 27 at 10:41 p.m. to Ashley and Michael Azure of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow.
She weighed six pounds eight ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
Her grandparents are Robert and Sandra Solheim of Wolf Point, and Lawrence and Dawnette Montclair of Fort Yates, N.D.

The Optimist Club is sponsoring a contest at Northside School to see which grade can collect the most aluminum cans. Since proceeds will be used to purchase books for the school’s library, all grades will ultimately be winners. One fifth-grader, Wyatt Weyrauch, brought in many bags of cans in for the contest. Community members can drop cans off at Northside to benefit the project as well.

The Nakona Dakota Oyate Youth Council and the Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center are offering a haunted house from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Poplar Rodeo Grounds Quonset.

A Halloween carnival is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, at Southside Elementary School. The JOM organization is sponsoring the event. Youngsters are urged to wear costumes.
Fun will include cake walks, ping pong, bowling, bean bag toss, basketball games, soccer games, washer toss and mini golf.
