Dear Editor: The article about the possibility of the school purchasing a house across the street from the Southside Elementary was alarming. The article stated that voter approval was not needed because it was across the street. To clarify the locations, the school property is in block 23 and the house is in block 24 of the original townsite of Wolf Point. Fifth Avenue separates the two.

La’Reina Mae Martell was born March 29, 2026, at 3 a.m. to Miracle Welch and Corey Martell of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. She weighed 7 pounds 2½ ounces and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Mistyerika and Jarod Weyrauch of Wolf Point and Chad Welch of Wolf Point.
