Arabian Nights At The Armory
Culbertson High School hosted its “Arabian Nights” themed prom at the old armory building on Broadway Avenue Saturday, March 21.
Junior class advisor Chelsie Flinn organized students and volunteers including Mary Drake, Mike Olson and others, who provided decorations, lights and music for the evening. Attendance was strong, with parents and relations packing the house for the grand march at 8 p.m. and the announcement of royalty immediately following.
Ian Snyder and Ayden Ator were voted king and queen, with Jaxon Flinn and Stella Fox representing the juniors; Bennie Sullivan and Kalia Featherston for the sophomores and Cord Snyder and Harper Anderson for the freshman class.
After prom was held at the Arc in Williston, N.D. Chaperone Tessa Rumsey told the Community News that there was pizza, chicken and prizes and said that everyone seemed to have a very good time. Chaperones included Chris and Kristen Petersen, Cass Obergfell and Amanda Sager.
