McDonald Enjoys Volleyball, Spending Time With Animals

Culbertson High School senior Jacklynne McDonald has enjoyed playing volleyball at the school for the past seven years.

Asked what she likes about the sport, McDonald replied, “It’s just fun.”

One of her favorite moments occurred when the team had a pizza tournament meal at Janelle Ator’s home.

McDonald also appreciates the positive relationships with her volleyball teammates. “I’m friends with probably most of the team,” she said.

She’s also pleased with the improvements she has made with her play. “I’ve come really far from my freshman year,” she explained.

Her hobbies include shopping, both online and in-person.

Her favorite class is “definitely” culinary arts. “We get to do labs and cook stuff,” McDonald said. She especially liked when the class cooked waffles.

McDonald’s favorite teacher is Shelby Manning. “She’s a pretty good teacher and is really nice,” she said.

After high school, McDonald plans to attend college and study to become a veterinary tech. “I want to help animals because I’m an animals’ girl,” she said.

In fact, she has two dogs at home. When asked if she spoils them, she answered, “I very much do.”
