Culbertson Council Talks Parking For Bathhouse
The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 10, at the town hall.
Following claims and action items, council members shared updates from the municipal bathhouse project. A parking area is being paved as the cold weather approaches. A single anonymous donation to the project was received recently in the amount of $4,260.26.
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office’s monthly report was discussed. There were 53 calls for service, 13 citations and two arrests.
Gy Salvevold was appointed by the council to serve as Culbertson’s urban supervisor on the Roosevelt County Conservation District board.
Clerk Terri Merrill and billing clerk Amber Fox explained initial water and sewer rates review findings. More information will be shared at the December council meeting.
Brittany Pirkle spoke during public comment to ask for progress on ordinance enforcement efforts. She said that on the day of the meeting, she counted 10 trailer violations, two boats and one semi.
The next regular meeting is set for Dec. 8.
